Thank you for the opportunity to attend. This event - was the 1st event where I hit a snafu. Thought the event was free, but the staff there charged me $181.64 for me and my date, and $132.45 for the other couple's table. My date & I had 1 drink each, other couple had 1 drink I believe. There was a $40 discount on the price - but it was unclear to me that the event was going to cost that much. Good turnout, many folks dressed up. Story was good, but organizers could have used a PA. Meal was surprisingly good, but disappointing to have to pay $65 per person.
