Here’s a big ol’ foot-stomping THANK YOU for the folks at the Boch Center for their outstanding support of veterans, as evidenced by the donation of tickets that allowed me and other veterans to witness a performance of Riverdance 30 - The New Generation on Tuesday, 8 April. What a fantastic show! All of it was great, but I particularly enjoyed two of the routines after intermission: the first being the routine set on the streets of New York, in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge. Absolutely sensational! That routine alone would have made for a wonderful evening, but the routine that followed it, featuring two pairs of male and female dancers in traditional Ukrainian costumes performing a routine with elements of classic Hopak dance was near and dear to my heart (as my paternal grandmother had emigrated from Ukraine to the U.S.). Thanks so much for allowing me and other veterans to enjoy such a wonderful evening!
