Thank you very much for the gift of the Dwight Yoakam with the Mavericks ticket. They were great seats. I was in town and staying nearby for work, so i was surprised to see one of my favorite bands was in town near to where I was staying. That was my 6th time watching the Mavericks, my first was 20 years ago in while I was deployed with the Army in Kosovo (former Yugoslavia) and they put on a show at our base. I think they are one of the best live bands around, and I’ve never left a show of theirs disappointed. Actually i was a little disappointed, simply because they were an opening act, and their set was shorter than I was hoping I had also been wanting to see Dwight for years. I’m just sad, because I had to leave Dwight’s set a before the end as I had to work so early the next day. Overall it was a fun experience, and opportunity; something I’ll be positively sharing with my friends for a while.
