As a comic book fan, Ezell began his moral journey of wanting to defend others by watching the exploits of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain America, and the Falcon. He would later join the Marine Corps with a similar goal of defending others and sacrificing for his country. These movies remind us, in a dramatic way, what our shared values and ideals should be.
