Thank you, Vet Tix, Mesa Arts Center, Emporium Presents, The Black Jacket Symphony Van Halen’s '1984,' Security, volunteers, and your great staffs for a fantastic show. The concert's description, posted on the Mesa Art Center's site, to which I can assuredly attest, reads as follows: "Remember putting on an album and listening from start to finish? Relive that moment with a live concert experience unlike any other as The Black Jacket Symphony recreates Van Halen’s iconic album 1984 live in its entirety—note for note, sound for sound—plus a full set of Van Halen’s greatest hits." While we had been to several concerts at the Mesa Arts Center, we had never heard The Black Jack Symphony. I must say, we were thoroughly impressed. The vocals, particularly the lead singer, TJ Hitt, and the musicianship, overall, were stupendous. The lead guitarist, Allen Barlow, was one of the best I've ever heard. The sound was well-balanced, and the light show was utterly amazing. The concert mesmerized for two hours, including the intermission. It was incredible! As for the Ikeda Theatre, it is the most gorgeous hall I have ever seen! We had great seats in the Orchestra Section, Row G, to the left of the stage, ten rows back. Perfect! There were a slew of snack bars with reasonably priced items, including adult beverages, located throughout the Center, which was convenient. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Mesa Arts Center, Emporium Presents, The Black Jacket Symphony Van Halen’s ‘1984,' Security, volunteers, and your extraordinary teams for such a splendid evening. We, active duty military personnel, veterans, first responders, family members, and friends, are grateful for all you do for us, our communities, and this great nation. You genuinely are life savers! Sincerely, Chuck
