Thank you, Vet Tix, Patriot Productions, the cast and crew of Singin' in the Rain, Horizon High School, Man of War Apparel, and your amazing staffs for an awesome presentation and evening. It was my wife's and my, and our eight friends', first visit to Horizon High School. The auditorium was very nice with a capacity of 1,007. In fact, it was the largest high school theater we had been to. We had excellent seats in Section House Left, Row G, but since the show was not sold out, we got to move to the middle section, directly center of the stage. There was a nice concession stand with a decent variety of reasonably-priced snacks and souvenirs, including a coffee bar. I purchased a mocha, which is my favorite. Prior to the play, we were led in singing the National Anthem, which always invokes a tearful spirit of patriotism in me, especially since I am a vet. The production lasted a good two and a half hours, not including the intermission. It's always difficult for me to believe the actors were high school students. They did such a fantastic job! The acting, singing, dancing, simplistic scene designs and many changes, sound effects, music etc., were incredible! We were blown away, although this was my wife's and my fourth time seeing this troupe. We knew it was going to be great. We had seen Beauty and the Beast, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and White Christmas, so we recognized many of the players. They were such a joy! What was also remarkable to me was reading this on the tickets: "Patriot Productions exists to bring theater that honors our Lord Jesus Christ and brings family together. We love to bring shows to our patrons and communities that inspire, encourage and point back to our Creator, who loves the arts even more than we do. We pray that the Lord uses this production to show his love to everyone who comes to see it." Patriot Productions was certainly a blessing! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Patriot Productions, the cast and crew of Singin' in the Rain, Man of War Apparel, everyone involved in this monumental achievement, Horizon High School, and your stupendous teams for a glorious event. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! Kudos to you and God bless! Dave passed away 3 months ago yesterday. Singing in the rain was his most favorite movie! As the songs played, especially good mornin and singing in the rain, had me balling my eyes out. THANK YOU for the tickets. My daughter and I are so grateful.
