Thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity to bring family and friends together and kick off honoring our fallen heroes on this awe-inspiring location. My wife & I don't attend too many events with our 10 month old daughter, but this event was worthy of extra effort. The evening could not have been more beautiful & the band rocked. We will be sure to visit the Missy again soon, inviting friends and family. For me the evening was nostalgic of many a flight deck steel beach picnic & for my family, it was a truly unique and memorable experience. Thank you again!

Thank you Vet-Tix & Live Nation, This was an awesome experience and a fantastic concert. I had never been on the USS Midway and wanted to get down to check it out. My dad had worked on the USS Midway when it was at Hunters Pointe for a retrofit between being drafted to fight in Vietnam so it was cool to finally see what he had worked on and get to walk around the flight deck to see the static displays. As for the Freedom Concert, a big Thank You to Live Nation. I received the email last week telling us about the change to Standing Room Only and had expected just that. When I got to Will Call to get my tickets I received a great surprise when I looked at the tickets to find we were going to be warching Lifehouse from the 6th row on the aisle. After all the cheques were handed out to the fubd raising recipients the band came on to give a great performance and topped it off with a final encore to cap the evening. Thank you to Live Nation, Vet-Tix, and everyone involved in allowing us to be apart of an awesome night of music performed by one of my wife's and daughters favorite band Life House. Not only was it great to see the band but it was especially great because of what it represented to my family being on top of the Midway on Memorial Weekend. They have watched me so many times float or fly away to go on a deployment, that it just made them feel even more as part of the experiences that I have had. Yesterday's event was truly amazing!!! Being aboard the USS Midway on the flight deck and seeing Lifehouse perform with my wife was pretty sweet. The venue was perfect and the tickets were top notch. I truly wasn't to thank Livenation for taking care of us while at the performance and putting Military Service members first.
