Thank you so much BSO for tickets to a fantastic performance of Rachmaninoff and Stravinsky sonatas. The Romanian portion towards the end was so rousing. As always, all the BSO performers were top-notch. Really enjoyed seeing all the instruments playing together.

The BSO was superbly conducted by Christian Macelaru. I also very much enjoyed the piano performance of Simon Trpceski during Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Thank you, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Vet Tix, for the opportunity to see the BSO perform at the Music Center at Strathmore. My companion and I thoroughly enjoyed all four portions of the concert, including the headlining Rachmaninoff and Stravinsky, as well as the additional material by Jessie Montgomery and Georges Enescu. We particularly enjoyed pianist Simon Trpceski performance of Stravinsky and Enescu's Romanian Rhapsody No. 1. The entire evening, from will call pickup to the outstanding acoustics of the Music Center, was great, despite the loss of electricity (due to high winds) during the performance, which caused the facility's backup generator to come online. As conductor Cristian Macelaru declared, despite the loss of power, the BSO performance would be electrifying. Thank you again, BSO and Vet Tix for this opportunity to experience the BSO performing at Strathmore.
