Thank you, Marquette University, for the tickets! Friends and I watched the 7th ranked Golden Eagles hold off the Hoyas from Georgetown. The 1st half, the home team missed lay-ups and rebounds. Marquette was down by 14 points. The 2nd half was a turn-around: Marquette made 3-pointers and free-throws. The crowd rose to the ocassion: cheers and applause! The game was tied, with 3 minutes left. In the end, Marquette prevailed, 74-66. Exciting game at Fiserv Forum! We appreciate your support of the military and families.

It was a great comeback victory for MY team( Dent’78!!- yes was there in ‘77!). I haven’t been in those seats since my wife and I attended games in 2003( my son also an alum). When Georgetown roared ahead, the prospects for Marquette looked dim. The excitement rose as the Golden Eagles came back to tie the game around halftime. The second half brought more drive for the home team to put the Hoyas away. We were raising our victory cheers for the Marquette basketball squad and those who allowed us to witness this exposition! Thank you for such an exceptional evening!
