Last night we saw Home for the Holidays concert at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, IL! We didn’t know what to expect but we certainly heard some holiday music but we also got some great tunes performed by these amazing artists. And we didn’t realize we were going to get a retirement announcement from anyone but Oleta Adams announced her retirement (her and her husband who jumped on the drums for her set). What I have to say is, I don’t care how you get here but get here (to the Genesee Theatre) if you can! Always great shows! Thanks Genesee Theatre for honoring veterans in this way with allowing us to privilege of seeing great shows like this!

Thank you, Genesee Theater, for the tickets. Friends and I saw four great singers do their songs and Christmas ones. Peabo Bryson, Oleta Adams, Ruben Studdard, Haley Reinhart! The staff were outstanding and helpful. The eight piece band added so much. It put us in the holiday spirit, four days before Christmas! Thank you for supporting the military and families.

Attending performances at the Genesee Theatre has always been a joy, and this event was a special treat for both my aunt and me. The evening was made unforgettable by the incredible performances of Peabo Bryson, Oleta Adams, Ruben Studdard, and Haley Reinhart. Their renditions of Christmas classics and greatest hits filled the theater with holiday spirit and left us in awe.
