We had a great time supporting Eva’s Heroes for this event. It was awesome watching the faces of these Special Abilities children and adults light up with the opportunity to participate in this play.

I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Alamo City Arts for their generous donation of tickets. This particular performance held special significance as it featured clients from Eva’s Heroes, and I have two adult children with special needs. My daughter, with whom I captured a memorable photograph, was profoundly inspired after the performance. She felt empowered to embrace her dreams, even envisioning herself participating in Clara’s dream sequence. During my years of service, I regrettably missed numerous holiday seasons; however, my retirement allows me to create cherished memories with my family. I appreciate Alamo City Arts for their thoughtful contribution, which not only facilitated an extraordinary experience but also enabled me to demonstrate to my daughter that, despite her unique challenges, she can aspire to participate in performances such as the Nutcracker. Once again, Alamo City Arts, thank you again for your unwavering support of the military community and for helping individuals like myself enhance the joy of the holiday season.
