What an honor it was to see such an incredible legend, who still has an amazing voice at age 80. I met my wife, back in 5th grade, in 1972. When we moved the summer of 1973, Gladys' song "Neither One of Us" very much resonated with me over the years. After reconnecting 40 years later and now being married for nearly ten years, this song, as well as "Your the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me", now constantly fill my heart (and my eyes) with tears of happiness. Thank you Gladys for singing to my heart during those years of separation. Thank you Vet Tix for allowing us to see her at the Shreveport, LA Auditorium on 14 Sep 2024!!
