My last duty station was Japan, so it was an especially fun treat to be able to watch Mina Tanaka’s NWSL debut and discuss her reception with some of my Japanese friends in Japan. As anyone in the military knows, it’s a small world, and I’m appreciative of the lasting bonds and random encounters that are facilitated by the generous donors who support veteran events and veteran access. My family recently PCSd from Colorado Springs where my daughter and had a tradition of attending Switchbacks soccer games. Thank you for allowing us to continue this tradition in Utah. The venue was great and the crowd was fun.
