Dear Tabares Entertainment Inc., We just saw the Circus Vargas “Jubilee” performance at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. It was FANTASTIC! Certainly, not our father’s old circus—this was exciting, beautiful, awe inspiring, funny, and an edge-of-the-seat experience. Frankly, was expecting a show like the one I saw as a young kid, but this one was super charged. Great entertainment! It’s a gem. If there could be a comparison, it was a combination of “Cirque du Soleil,” “America’s Got Talent,” and the movie, “The Greatest Show on Earth!” But it was better in that it was close, intimate, and right in front of you live. The live music, humor, singing and multi-talented Ringmaster were first rate. It was also evident that performers do their acts as part of the Vargas family, and they make you a part of that family and total experience. A small but very memorable part was having these super talented performers serve our popcorn and drinks on the other side of the counter. It made for a nice personal-level touch that connected us individually. In a way, it felt like we were taken back to the early days of the traveling American circus with that small town feel of familiarity. Even at the end, having some of the performers out personally greeting spectators as we filed out was classy. Can’t get that anywhere. This is American entertainment going back to its simple roots and connecting with its audience. Your generosity in contributing to the many who have served and to their families was most appreciated. This was a great way to start the Summer and remember those who helped protect this nation and its enduring legacy. Semper Supra!
