Dear Heroes at Nederlander National / Broadway Markets, First off, let me say – wow, what a night! Thanks to your generous donation of tickets through the Vettix program, we got to spend my evening at "The Psychology of Serial Killers and Why They Captivate Us." And let me tell you, it was more gripping than trying to solve a murder mystery in a blackout, with only a candle and my cat to help me. I never thought I'd find myself in a room full of people equally eager to dive into the minds of the world's most notorious serial killers, without it being a scene straight out of a sitcom. Dr. Rachel Toles was our fearless leader, guiding us through the dark and twisted alleys of the human psyche, and somehow making us laugh while doing it. Who knew learning about the neurological brain activity of a serial killer could be so entertaining? I sure didn't! Your act of kindness didn't just enlighten me; it also confirmed my suspicion that my fascination with serial killers is indeed a mix of morbid curiosity and a subconscious self-defense strategy. I mean, if you're going to learn how to defend yourself against a serial killer, why not do it in a room full of like-minded folks, with a side of dark humor? I'm now armed with knowledge about hedonistic killers, power/control freaks, and even those on a mission from their own twisted version of a higher calling. Plus, I've got a few icebreakers for my next dinner party that are sure to raise some eyebrows (or have me dining alone). In all seriousness, your donation provided a truly unique and memorable experience that I'm incredibly grateful for. It was a night of learning, laughter, and realizing that maybe, just maybe, we're all a little weird for being so captivated by serial killers. But hey, at least we're in good company. Thanks again for the killer night – pun intended. You've made this true crime fan extremely happy and slightly more paranoid. Best chuckles and grateful shivers, John S.
