So 1 big complaint, on the website and everything it was listed as an all ages show. I've enjoyed EDM shows for years, was going to take my 18-19 yo niece and her best friend( same age) luckily they had to bail because of work conflicts. When I got to the venue it was strictly a 21+ event. GEEK is a Chinese made vape company... Which it being a vape company means no one under 21 can purchase and by extension couldn't watch the show ( I did see some 16/17 year olds get turned away who were behind me and a friend in line. Felt bad for them. I get it but yeah that would have been a totally missed event for me if I brought her and her friend with us and they wouldn't have been allowed in. Past that the event was slow ( ravers don't start having fun until after midnight so makes sense) but it was enjoyable. The DJs did put on a stellar show with good crowd work. There was some free merch from GEEK as well as some free merch they threw into the crowd ( shirts, hats, flags). The show was fun and much appreciated as it was still a way to get out. The staff were friendly but AEG being the donors and one of the sponsors, just please make sure the ages are accurate, would have been rough to drive up just to not be able to go in.
