Thank you so much for providing me with tickets to attend the Ashanti and JaRule concert this past weekend, Saturday 17 February 2024, at the James Brown arena in Augusta, GA. I have not been able to afford to do many fun things for quite a while. You absolutely made my day. I invited another veteran to join me, who also suffers from numerous physical and mental health issues, and I have never seen him smile so much in years. I invited my cousin and his girlfriend too. They are recovering substance abusers and I suffer from depression, so I understand their struggles with feeling isolated while suffering in silence. We are all so very grateful and appreciative of your generosity and for your support of our Veterans. It felt good to feel seen because unfortunately most of the people who we come in contact with do not always treat us with the love, dignity, and respect that we deserve as God’s children. I appreciate receiving donated tickets from Oak View Group LLC to attend the Ja Rule and Ashanti concert. The venue was not well organized because doors opened on time at 7 pm; however, attendees were not allowed to be seated until around 7:50 pm. The microphones/sound system were not synced properly making it difficult to understand words by announcers on the stage. Ja Rule and Ashanti provided an excellent performance; however, it was annoying to have a show begin one hour and forty five minutes late. Once the Ja Rule and Ashanti concert begin, the sound system worked excellently. Overall, the concert experience was enjoyable although the long delay waiting for the artist to perform and sound system issues of the venue caused our experience to be less favorable than we expected.

Thank you Vettix and oak View Group LLC for An Epic Night of Hits tickets. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience for us this time. The show started 1 1/2 late, it was supposed to start at 8pm. We didn’t finished it, we left after 10 pm. Jaru and Ashanti only showed up once when we left. But we are still thankful for it. Thank you again.
