I would like to thank Live Nation for providing tickets to The Mavericks at Tannahill's Tavern. It has been about 25 years since the first time I saw them live and I was excited to go out to see them, once again, with my wife. We were also able to take some old friends along with us who had never seen the show. Although The Mavericks have a collection of classic songs that I love, much of the setlist consisted of newer songs or covers. The tightness of the band and the sheer beauty of Raul Malo's voice left me unbothered that there were a number of songs I would have liked to have heard. The music they did perform was fantastic and an absolute joy to see performed. Once again, thank you for donating the tickets and giving us a wonderful evening out.
