Ever stand in the crowd and have a moment where it occurs to you that you are watching the best concert you’ve seen in your life? What you thought was the best pales in comparison to what is happening on the stage in front of you? Friday night was the night. Jason Isbell, singing King of Oklahoma. Turnpike Troubadours in front of a hometown crowd. My kids, 11 and 14, will not realize until much later in life how important that concert was in the timeline of both of these bands. And we got to see it. I was able to share this amazing night with my family and it wouldn’t have been possible without these tickets. When we found out they were donated by Mammoth Live we started making mammoth jokes and planned a road trip to the elephant sanctuary in Tennessee. Thank you for this amazing night out with my family.
