What a great evening! We went with my in-laws again, but this time we got there a little early and had dinner at Bull and Bourbon before the show! We have attended quite a few shows and concerts at various venues throughout San Diego this year, and the Sycuan Casino Live & Up Close Theatre is one of our favorites! Similarly, Straight No Chaser was one of our favorite shows ALL YEAR! Thank you VET TIX, Straight No Chaser, and Sycuan Casino Live & Up Close Theatre for another great night out!

Straight No Chaser, the nine-man a cappella group known for their infectious energy, playful humor, and tight vocal arrangements, is more than just a musical act. They're an experience. From their early days as college students at Indiana University to their current status as international stars, Straight No Chaser has carved a unique niche in the music world, leaving audiences everywhere grinning from ear to ear. Their repertoire is a delightful blend of pop, jazz, holiday classics, and even the occasional hip-hop number. They seamlessly transition from a soulful rendition of "Lean on Me" to a foot-stomping medley of Michael Jackson hits, all without the aid of a single instrument. Each member brings his own distinct vocal color and personality to the mix, creating a rich and dynamic soundscape. Their arrangements are intricate and playful, pushing the boundaries of what the human voice can do. Whether it's the beatboxing mastery of Deke Sharon or the soaring high notes of Dan Ponce, there's always something to keep your ears glued to the stage. Tonight’s concert was no exception. The Sycuan Casino venue was wonderful. From the very good roadway into the property, well-lit and modern parking garage, multiple dining locations, and beautiful facility, my wife, family friend, and I were very happy with the experience.
