This was an evening to top them all. To see the Marine Corp. Band open the event to honor the vets in attendance was heart warming. Thank you Live Nation, Joe Walsh and to Vet Tix for making this event possible for all that were able to attend.

First of all, I must send out a huge thank you to security (Elsa) and the first aid tent. They could not have been more accommodating, professional, courteous, as they too care of Vicky. When returning to our seats, the path was extremely dark as the lights were turned off during the War On Drugs set. Another patron came from behind her and knocked her down breaking her glasses and she received a cut above her eye. Lots of blood. Everyone came to her aid. We unfortunately had to leave to get her to the VA emergency. Security offered my family a place to stay while we waited for the main reason we came which was ELO. They headed back to their seats while I rushed Vicky to the hospital. It was still an hour before the ELO set so I decided to head back and Elsa allowed me to join my 10 year old grandson and my daughter to enjoy the wonderful set put on by ELO. Thank you to North Island County Credit union, Joe Walsh, Stephen Stills, Lucius, Flaming Lips, War On Drugs, Drew Cary, and of course Jeff Lynne and ELO. It was important to me to share this music with my grandson. Rock music is something we share and to bring him to see a band I saw in the mid ‘70s was extra special. Thank you VetTix.org for providing my family access. Vicky ended up with a small gash and the VA took care of her immediately. Today she rested, and my grandson gave me a hug and thanked me for taking him to the concert.

My wife and a few friends went with me to the show at the North Island CU amphitheater. Part of the line up was Jeff Lynne’s ELO. OMG doesn’t even come close to describing how good they’re set was. I truly enjoy each time I can see a live show and part of the play list is a big part of my childhood. Jeff had 12 musicians and singers they sounded exceptional, especially the strings. Joe Walsh and Steven Stills were gravy on top of an already great show. Thanks to Live Nation and VetTix for the seats to this show. ELO-bucket lost checked.
