I grew up with an athletic father (AF) that took me to a lot of sporting events including season tickets to the Cleveland Browns. I wanted to give my daughter the same experience, but as an aircraft mechanic (post USMC), 9/11 sent us into financial struggles. My daughter LOVES hockey. We spent many evenings at IcePlex (Raleigh NC) watching beer league games, but never found an opportunity for Hurricane tix. Now in CLE, we've attended some Monsters AHL games and it's amazing! These tix gave me a chance to finally get her to her first NHL game!! When the Jackets scored their 2nd goal (a reasonably routine shot that just snuck over the shoulder and caught everyone off guard) the spontaneous crowd eruption left her mouth gaping. She finally understands some of my stories. We even got an encore! Overtime! These were my first VetTix tickets, so I didn't do great with pictures and such, but please don't let my inexperience lead you to believe you didn't significantly impact someone's life. A 2 hour delay due to a power outage also allowed us to spend time together exploring downtown Columbus. I've never been there, but it's beautiful, clean, feels safe and there's a LOT of flags and patriotic memorabilia. Thank you Prolific 1 for allowing me to see the excitement on my daughter's face while she finally enjoyed her long awaited first NHL game. We'll never forget it.
