Quite an evening, thanks to the Predators. I took a brother and his sister from church and also the brother's girlfriend, their second date. Neither of the girls had been to an ice hockey game. The boy was already all in, having attended before and bought a jersey. And afterwards, he took his date to the shop on the first floor and bought her a Preds cap. During the game, I did my best to brief the sister on power plays, shots on goal, icing, etc. It reminded me of the time I found my self seated next to two Brits at Wrigley Field (and again with an Iranian at Comerica Park) trying to explain the infield fly rule.
