Thank you, thank you, thank YOU! Best seats I've ever had at the symphony for one of the most enjoyable combination shows ever! The guest conductor was funny, the music familiar: some poignant, some nostalgic, and the surprise singers added a nice touch, just a WONDERFUL show! My friend said this guest conductor is her favorite conductor yet; she loved his humor, explanations, and especially the joy he exudes from loving what he does! Thank you so much, to both The Phoenix Symphony and to Vet-Tix. We didn't care the seats weren't handicap...we easily checked my walker with an usher and were overjoyed and full of gratitude that the symphony is so incredibly kind to disabled veterans - 13th row center stage seats were awesome seats!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! ~Carrie

Thank you to the Phoenix Symphony and Vettix for the opportunity to take my wife, sister-in-law, and niece to see Pops Goes to Hollywood. The guest conductor, Carl Topilow, really added to the program with his humor and fantastic clarinet playing. We had a wonderful time and all agreed that it was a very entertaining evening.

Very enjoyable and highly entertaining. The interaction of the guest conductor (Carl Topilow) with the audience was captivating, and you didn't want it to end. His clarinet performance was masterful. This was my first opportunity to attend one of his performances, and I can't wait for his return. The orchestra did a marvelous job in presenting the show tunes under the direction of the conductor. Thanks to the phoenix Symphony and Vettix for allowing me to attend this event. Am always appreciative when the Phoenix Symphony provides tickets for the veterans.

My wife and I are actually fairly serious symphony-goers, but this fun and lighthearted Pops event was really awesome! We enjoyed the music and the video projection very much - the Jurassic Park sequence was especially impressive. But the best moment was when "Darth Vader" came out to conduct the Imperial March. Good times! We also got a big laugh out of the conductor dressed in a Superman costume to conduct music from those movies. He was educational and charming, but with a great sense of humor. The orchestra was amazing, as they always are. We had a great time. Thanks so much to VetTix and of course the fantastic Phoenix Symphony for an excellent evening!

OMG !! What a magical night of music. The conductor Carl Topilow is a multi talented performer. He even had the audience whistling to the tune of the Colonel Bogey March. We have been to the Symphony many times and this performance has to be in the top three. It was entertainment on steroids.. We want to thank Vet Tix and the Phoenix Symphony for allowing us to see such marvelous performances.
