A message from my wife on this one: I’m not even sure where to begin. Start with a “THANK YOU” or start with “my story” Story first: I was eight years old, the year was 1986 and remember standing in a music store angry because my mom and dad didn’t let me pick out the cassette tapes for my brand new cassette player. Instead they picked out Kenny Rogers, George Straight, Bruce Springsteen and Alabama!! Boy did they ever pick right because they were played on repeat day after day after day. Alabama, thank you for blessing us with your music all these years - Thank you for keeping tonight simple and down home. Thank you mom and dad for choosing the right music. You were right! And THANK YOU, Outback Presents, for the incredible seats tonight. My heart was full tonight of all the wonderful memories sitting and listening to music with my parents growing up.
