We celebrated 30 years of Seal at the Bellco Theatre on May 30th with special guest The Buggles. They are a famous one hit wonder known for "Video Killed The Radio Star", the first music video to launch on MTV. Ironically, the album was titled "The Age of Plastic." The song choice could not have been more appropriate for the debut of the visual medium as it highlighted music's evolution from plastic and radio to video. In a remarkable career that spans more than two decades, London-born multi-platinum singer-songwriter Seal has been focused on a single creative pursuit: expressing the full experience of love through song. Known for his one-of-a-kind soaring, husky baritone voice and classic songwriting, Seal has seen success across numerous genres of music. His smooth vocal delivery on hits like "Crazy" and "Kiss from a Rose" quickly cemented his status as a formidable singer, and over the years he’s extended his influence with a wide catalog of original music and soulful covers earning him multiple Grammy awards and selling more than 30 million albums worldwide. Sandra, our guests, a full theater, and I had an amazing night in beautiful downtown Denver. If you get a chance, you must experience this amazing performances. It was an awesome show beginning with the Opening Act "Buggles" whom I did not recognize by name but played their pop hit, "Video killed the Radio Star" song. Seal impressed us by singing while walking through the crowd and stating he had refound his PURPOSE in LIFE, therefore touring again.
