My wife and I absolutely enjoyed the Washington Performing Arts’ presentation of the Taiwan Philharmonic — a sharing of a beautiful country’s talent. Thank you! The Kennedy Center was amazing as well, and we truly appreciated the time we had together to share in the beautiful arts.

Thank you for giving us tickets to see the Taiwan Philharmonic. It was wonderful. We took a trip to Washington DC to see the show. Our first real vacation since Covid hit in March 2020. We enjoyed the show. The violinist was amazing. It was the first time we visited The Kennedy Center, of The Preforming Arts.

Dear Vet Tix and Washington Performing Arts, Thank you for your generosity in donating tickets for Veterans to attend your wonderful presentations. It was exciting to see an event which was in the planning for seven years— The Taiwan Philharmonic performing at The Kennedy Center! The music director, Jun Markl chose beautiful pieces to perform. It was a pleasure to hear the world premiere of “Ebbs and Flows” composed by Ke-Chia Chen as well as to applaud her when she appeared on stage afterwards. Guest Violinist Paul Huang offered a virtuoso performance with Max Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy, Op. 46. I also very much appreciated the Taiwan Philharmonic’s delightful playing on Felix Mendelssohn’s The Hebrides, Op. 26 and Claude Debussy’s La Mer. The Staff of the Kennedy Center was courteous and very helpful. It was a wonderful evening of music! Best regards, Edgar Russell

Thank you so much for these tickets! I loved the cultural exchange through music. It was our first night back in DC since I retired a year ago, and our first time back to the Kennedy Center since covid. What a lovely evening.
