Thank you, Vet Tix, Footprint Center, Arizona Rattlers - IFL, Tucson Sugar Skulls, vendors, and your fantastic staffs for such a great time! It was my sixth visit to Footprint Center to watch the Rattlers play. My last game was Round 2 of the Playoffs in July 2022. It's great to be back! Attending a game is such a happy time for families. It's a festive, noisy, energetic, exciting, fun place to be! There are contests where fans can win prizes and money. There are also crowd-involved activities, camera searches, and various antics, such as the Helmet Shuffle, Flex Cam, Fist Pump Cam, Fan Cam, YMCA dance, Mini Football Toss, which the Blue Team won, Happy Birthday wishes, Smile Cam, 50/50 Raffle, Jersey Off the Back, etc. After games, there is an opportunity to take pictures with the players and those gorgeous cheerleaders, the Sidewinders, as well as get their autographs. Footprint Center is an awesome arena! We sat in Section 110, but there are no bad seats in the house. The food, beverages, team gear, and services are varied and a big plus. Tonight's singer performed an excellent rendition of the National Anthem. Bill Arkenau was the Honored Veteran of the Game, and Amelia was highlighted during the Half-time Show Football Toss/Race. The Sidewinders were also introduced during the Half-time Show. What a hard-fought game! Unfortunately, the Rattlers lost to a Tucson team firing on all pistons, which came from behind, 54 to 48. However, I must say, the refereeing was terribly one-sided, especially by the Head Ref, #54, who ejected the Rattlers' coach, at the end of the Fourth Quarter. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Footprint Center, Arizona Rattlers - IFL, Tucson Sugar Skulls, and your stupendous staffs and teams for all you do for us, active military personnel, vets, and first responders.
