I was able to take my wife, Father-in-law and Sister-in-law to the Lucas Oil Winternationals at the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip all thanks to NHRA National Hot Rod Association for donating tickets for military members. We had a fun time as a family watching the drag races. Thank you again!

Thank you Vet-Tix and National Hot Rod Association - NHRA, Today was another great day of racing. We got to the track early and started out by participating in the track walk and pre-race ceremonies on the Starting Line, where we got to see a Wally trophie to be awarded later in the day. Then we found our seats for the day and settled in to watch lots of fast cars, and a few trucks, race down the track. Yesterday we saw JR Todd get involved with John Force in a crash and today we witnessed JR's car break apart around him when his blower exploded. We stayed til the very end and after watching Matt Hagan win the Funny Car and Justin Ashley win the Top Fuel Dragster divisions we got to walk out onto the track once again, only this time a lot stickier from all the fresh rubber that had been melted onto it. We made our way to the winner's stage where we saw these 2 winners show off their new hardware and I was able to add their signatures to my Vet-Tix sign and get pictures with them both. In fact, in my picture I have posted you can see my girlfriend holding Matt Hagan's Wally trophy as he posed for a picture with us after winning. The great part was that this was the exact trophy that we had gotten to see up close during the track walk in the morning. Thanks again Vet-Tix and National Hot Rod Association - NHRA. A big "Thank you" to the NHRA and Vettix! Got to enjoy a beautiful day of racing with my wife and my Dad. I am a disabled vet who comes from a long line of drag racers and NHRA fans. This was my wife's first event and she got to see and feel what we love about these ground shaking machines. Without your kind donation. We would not have been able to attend, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
