Hi Vet Tix and the Washington Ballet, I want to thank you for the great tickets to an amazing performance of The Nutcracker. Everything about this show was magical. The Warner Theatre itself is grand and gorgeous; it feels like visiting a royal palace. All of your people were so kind, courteous, and helpful. I was very surprised by the concession stand. I was expecting crazy prices for food and drink items but nothing was overly expensive. The ballet itself was incredible. The classical Nutcracker music was perfect, and the sound system was so well tuned. Every seat in the house had great acoustics. The scenery and the props were so well done; they felt like another performer on the stage. Your costume designer is to be commended; the performers looked like they walked straight out of the Victorian era and felt right at home. The Nutcracker and the Mouse King were perfect! The mice and the soldiers battle was the perfect little war on stage with cannon, swords and horses. Finally, the dancers. I can't say enough about the dancers. The dancers were absolutely world-class! I have never seen such a perfect mix of grace, beauty and athleticism in my life. Your troupe could perform in any world capital and make the audience laugh, cry and cheer. You were all breath-taking. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible performance with me and my family. We are honored to have been present at your last performance of the year 2022.
