I would like to thank Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl and First Responders Bowl for the ticket to the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. I really enjoyed the amazing game between the Air Force Falcons and the Baylor Bears. It allowed me to finally visit the campus of TCU.

Well... we made it in the door at least. The plan when I got these was to drive the 2 hours and take the 3 kids into a bowl game while Mom, Gma, and eldest daughter went to OK for the casino. Well, the morning of, we saw the expected temperatures and the wife decided not to do the casino part. I said, the kids and I will still go because the tickets were free. Well, we made it up before the end of the first, got to some seats, heard kids complaining and saying their toes were freezing off, and left with about 3 min to play in the half. I'm from Wisconsin, so I know how to dress, but tell a 13 year old what to do and see if they listen. Thank you Armed Forces Bowl for the tickets, sorry we didn't stay to enjoy the whole thing. The picture does have a VETTIX shirt in it, it's just covered by 4 other layers.

Thanks for the great tickets to a great Falcon win! The weather was not cooperative, but we survived almost all of the game in sub zero wind chill. A little bowl history of the coldest bowl games on record: 1958 Bluegrass Bowl Louisville vs Oklahoma State @ 12 degrees 1983 Liberty Bowl Notre Dame vs Boston College @ 12 degrees 1962 Gotham Bowl Nebraska vs Miami @ 14 degrees Kickoff last night was 13 degrees and by the third quarter temps had fallen to 11 with a -8 degree wind chill. Who would have thought that one of the coldest, if not the coldest bowl game in history would be played in Ft. Worth, Texas? Thanks for all you do for our brave solders present and past! Keep up the great work!
