Special thanks to Arena Stage for providing my spouse and I the opportunity to experience American Prophet. This was the best stage production that I have ever witnessed. It enhance my understanding of Frederick Douglass' life long as experience. I was amazed of the talent of the lead artist in his ability to flawlessly transition from scene to scene. Last but not least, the venue was amazing and the staff was very accommodating.

Thank you Arena Stage! It was a beautifully acted play about discrimination based on skin color. I hope in the future that viewers of this play will not be discriminated against based on age, like the Kennedy Center.
