What a wonderful day with my !6 year old granddaughter . We sat in our seats in section 322 for a few innings then just walked around the ballpark and enjoyed the day . Growing up as a little girl, my siblings and I were die hard baseball fans. In fact, we were Astros Buddies. We never missed a home game. On the other hand, my princes are simply un-American. LOL. They have never liked baseball, nor have they ever had the desire to do anything baseball related. So, I made the decision to take them anyways. That's what Moms do. I am happy to report that both boys enjoyed themselves. So much so, they want to go again. One of them asked to become a Diamondbacks kid club member. I don't know about that. LOL. Either way, I am grateful to the donor for not only giving me an opportunity to finally introduce my princes to a sport that I grew up loving, but for also affording me another opportunity to spend time with my babies. Family moments are so important to me. Knowing that the older they get the less they want to hang with Mom and Dad, I love to take advantage of any chance to hang with them.
