2nd Annual Operation Date Night at ASU Gammage - 42nd Street
Event Feedback
From the bottom of my heart I want to thank ASU Gammage, Macayo's Mexican restaurant, APS and Vettix for a fantastic date night for my wife and I. The cast of 42nd Street put on a wonderful high energy production. I know a lot of work went into providing this night for us veterans. Thank you.

I like to express my deepest gratitude for all those who have helped put together Operation Date Night. My date and I where so taken back by all the warm welcomes, graciousness and giving that brought together an evening that we will remember for years to come. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful. How can we begin to thank all those responsible for the evening. I know that there had to be many people behind the scenes who gave of their time and money to make us feel so appreciated for our service. For those not mentioned here, we humbly thank you as well. To A.S.U. Gammage, APS, PF Changs, and Vettix.org a very special thank you for all that you have done to make the evening so exceptional. Starting with the volunteers at Will-Call, they were helpful and made me feel so welcomed. To PF Changs, where the oriental food and service was absolutely the best in the valley. They treated us like a king and queen. You even thought to give us special parking for the performance at Gammage. The goody bag was a complete surprise. Wow, was all I could say when it was opened. Thank you for that thoughtful touch of gifts that warmed my heart. The book, CD and other mementos will help keep this memory alive for years to come. I couldn't help but think of the other veterans and their families that gave so much more to our country than I did. I reflected on how they must know, tonight, that they are remembered and appreciated for all of their sacrifices by what you did for all of us tonight. What else could be said about the show, 42nd Street, except to say that they received a five to ten minute standing ovation from everyone in the audience. I have seen a dozen shows on Broadway when I lived nearby New York City. The dancers and actors gave us the performance of a lifetime. The best show I have ever seen. Thank you to the cast, producers, musicians, stagehands and all others associated with the show. Well done indeed! Together with all of the little things you did for all the veterans, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It is so very beautiful when people can congregate and work together to make precious moments like these in our lives. I will cherish this for years to come. Jeffrey Turner, U.S.A.F., Sun City, AZ

Thank you to all the sponsors who made the 2nd Annual Operation Date Night at ASU Gammage happen! What a wonderful evening my wife and I had last night. The 42nd Street show was amazing and the Gammage venue is stunning. From the moment of our arrival, all the folks there were super friendly assisting us and answering our questions as first time patrons to Gammage. I'm already looking forward to our next visit there. Again, thank you Vet Tix!

Thank you all for such a wonderful night. We loved our dinner at The Keg and the show at the Gammage. We were even supplied with dessert at intermission. The talent was amazing . We enjoyed the tap dancing so much, you don't get to see that much anymore. We grew up watching that kind of shows and really enjoyed seeing that again. We both talked about how we always wanted to learn how to tap. Thanks to The Keg, Thanks to Gammage, and Thanks to Vet Tix for a night to remember.

Wow Vet Tix, you put together an incredible evening for a fun date night! Every part of it was perfect! The welcome packet and staff, dinner coupon, intermission cupcakes and the show was one of the best date nights ever! We really loved the tap dancing in this musical because that is something you rarely see nowadays. Thanks again for doing so much for veterans and making these great evenings possible.

Wow! What a spectacular show! Charlotte and I were spellbound by the perfectly choreographed dancing. We should know; we both have been enthusiastic dancers many years. 42nd Street is a memory we will long cherish. Thanks to you Vet Tix. Your hospitality for "Date Night," was over the top.

My family and I would like to thank you for this great opportunity. It was a great experience and we really enjoyed the show. We look forward to going to many more in the future. It is great that Soldiers and their families can take advantage of a program like this, and that there are people out there willing to do this. Once again thank you so much.
