Not a great day for a concert in Kansas City! Possible tornado activity at home base made our "date night" questionable. Not wanting to leave the fur-babies to fend for themselves, my wife decided to stay home and brave the elements since I was pretty much obligated to go (no bad weather clauses in place). Invited a family friend so I did not need to travel alone, forgot my wallet and remembered 20 miles outside of town. Clear skies and 30-40 mph wind gusts all the way to KC. Arrived at the concert late and missed out on In Flames. Decided to stand in the back of the chairs on the floor for a less congested viewing of the show - first time by the sound stage! Fully enjoyed three incredible acts; Trivium, lamb of god, and Megadeth! Got drenched walking back to the van after the show (the storm cells were over KC now). Grabbed some midnight chow at a McD's with a concert rush and only two employees working. Lastly, hit a coyote on I-70 heading westbound about 25 miles from home at 1:30 am, rendering the van inoperative. Much excitement for one evening! Enjoyed the show greatly though - thank you to Live Nation and Vet Tix for another incredible experience!

THIS SHOW WAS AMAZING!!! We had such a great time at the show the whole lineup from start to finish was AMAZING!!! In Flames started us off, then Trivium rocked on, lamb of god rocked my face off and Megadeth was as classic as usual. We loved every minute of it and very thankful for Vet Tix giving us the opportunity to attend this amazing show!

I was able to take mt sister and share with her a childhood concert memeory that defined music and our love for the greatest metal in the world! where we could meet up with friends who 25 years later would be reliving the greatest times of our lives! thank you all for a memory that will last forever
