Thank you Phoenix Symphony for donating the tickets to Vet Tix. Great seats. 13 rows back, could see faces of players and singers! Not a fan of the first selection. The second was nice, but we really enjoy the basic classical pieces. Such energy and fun.

My boys and I love the symphony so we were very excited when we were informed that we had received free tickets to the Beethoven Symphony No 7. The musicians played so beautifully and the experience was nothing short of amazing. Thank you, Phoenix Symphony, for your donation of the tickets that allowed my boys and I to create a wonderful memory together.

My date and I are very grateful to Vet-Tix and the Phoenix Symphony for the opportunity to attend the Phoenix Symphony on January 23. The concert was terrific. We greatly enjoyed the very fine musicianship of the entire orchestra (especially the woodwind section) and the obviously great talent of Maestro Munoz. I'm a former Navy trombonist, and I love your brass sections, as well, but (except for the horns and 2 trumpeters), they didn't have large parts this time. (Love to hear them perform Mahler.) The composition "Unstuck" was original and very interesting. And Poulenc's "Gloria" and Beethoven's Seventh are pieces with which I am very familiar but have never before heard live. They were superb!!! WOW! Thank you, PHOENIX SYMPHONY!

We thoroughly enjoyed the presentation of Beethoven Symphony No. 7, beautiful performance, the Phoenix Symphony is really a first class orchestra. We also appreciate Maestro Munoz's efforts to bring new composers to us. It certainly is a different experience. As always, the Phoenix Symphony Chorus is outstanding and the soprano Ms. Ah Young Hong was terrific. We thank the Phoenix Symphony and Vet Tix for making this experience possible.

Thank you Phoenix Symphony for providing us with seats that gave us an excellent view and hearing ability. Our enjoyment of the evening grew with the presentation of each work. Although Andrew Norman may be "one of the most compelling musical voices of his generation", I suppose we are of a different generation and could not fully appreciate his "Unstuck". Our enthusiasm, however, improved while listening to Francis Poulenc's "Gloria" which featured the very capable singing of The Phoenix Symphony Chorus. The highlight of the evening, however, was the markedly energetic and rhythmic performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 which literally made us forget about the two previous works and, at its conclusion, jump to our feet in appreciation of our symphony's skillful and driving presentation. All we could talk about afterward was No. 7. Bravo!
