I would like to thank The University of Texas Athletics-NCAA Madeksho Law Firm as well as the individual donors that made this game possible to attend. The weather wasn't that great, however that didn't stop us from having a fantastic time. The energy at the stadium was amazing and the Longhorns winning just made it even better. We got completely soaked because of the rain, but we enjoyed every single minute of it. I am so grateful for Vet Tix as well as the donors for thinking about events that make Veterans like myself really feel appreciated.

This was going to be our first UT game. I gave the tickets to 4 single Airman in the dorms who were able to make it and withstannd the elements. I would like to thank the University of Texas Athletics office and the Madeksho Law Firm for donating tickets for the UT Longhorns football game vs Kansas State. As a 1985 graduate of UT and having been commissioned into the USAF at UT after completing ROTC, it was great to return to Austin for a game. In fact, we brought our Dutch exchange student to the game with us and she loved it. Despite the terrible weather, we stayed until the end. I guess we are true fans! What an experience! Feeling the rain pouring the whole game was well worth getting soaked! This was the first game my uncle had attended and for being able to give him that was amazing. It could not have been possible without The University of Texas, NCAA, Madesksho Law Firm, and the gracious individual donors. Thank you for remembering not only veterans, but the people who have supported them. VetTix, you are the best!
