Duke Athketics heroes corner is a special place where veterans can come and watch the game from one if the best seats in the house and watch the fireworks as the blue devils take the field.

Thank you Duke University for another amazing season of home football games. Your donation of tickets to military veterans has made me a Duke fan, attending all games, and even attending one of Coach Cutcliffe's radio shows at the Washington Duke. You, in the last 3 years, have made Duke football a fun event to attend. It's now something that myself and other veteran friends will get together and do on a Saturday. By outlining a section for veterans in your stadium, I was also able to give 2 x 50 yard line tickets in the front rows to 2 veterans that I found sitting there because I had extra tickets to a Duke football game. Great idea. Thank you again Duke University and Duke athletics. Beat Virginia. Beat Wake Forest and see you at Wallace Wade again next year!

All was great, except for the final score. Duke did an excellent job recognizing veterans on Military Appreciation Day. They sat all of us in one section(11), had signage. Had both veterans and active military together. Half time tribute was outstanding , covered the entire filed with a US Flag. Paid a special tribute to a wounded Airman from Fayetteville, NC and recognized other Wounded Warriors. Thanks Blue Devils for a great Miltiary Appreciation Day and for the tickets!

We really enjoyed attending the Duke/Pitt game on Saturday. The weather was perfect and the event was well put together, including a nice half time event which had recognition for currently serving members and veterans.
