This was our first time to this event and it was AMAZING!!! Had a blast at the Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games in Decatur, TX. We tried haggis and mash, bangers and mash, meat pie, Scotch egg, turkey leg, and funnel cakes. Loved it all! We watched Scottish bands, a fencing demonstration, highland games. Saw so many beautiful crafts, kilts and garbs. And got to see and pet crazy big dogs like Irish wolfhounds. Such an amazing day and experience! ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ This will become an annual tradition for is. Thank you so much to the Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games and Vet Tix!

We had such a great time. My husband is a disabled vet and can't walk a lot. This was a great event because he was able to sit on the hay bails and watch the games. He talked to some of the athletes and learned a lot about the events. My daughter and I enjoyed watching the games, talking to the people in the Clan tents. We all had a great day out together as a family. Thank you so MUCH!!!!!

We would like to send a truly heartfelt thanks to Vet Tix and to everyone involved in providing tickets to all the Veterans. This event was amazing! It made my wife, whom at this time cannot get home to Scotland, so happy. We thoroughly enjoyed the Pipe Bands and all of the Highland Games. The Highland Games were especially nice, because my wife is from the Boarders of Scotland and did not get to see the Highland Games very often through out her life in Scotland. She also really enjoyed the food that made her homesick for more Scottish Food. Thanks again for all you do. Your Veteran and Scottish Spouse

Thank you Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games! Your support for veterans is greatly appreciated. We had a fabulous time watching the games and listening to the entertainers while meeting a lot of interesting folks. It was a fun weekend event, and we plan on attending next year!

Had a great time at the festival for many reasons. Meeting a lot of new people that were involved with donating tickets to VetTix, also people that make the festival happen along with the vendors and competitors in the games. There were people that attended also from all around, fellow veterans and some not but everyone was having a good time and great to be around.
