Nothing better than a sunny, blue sky day in Arizona in mid January and I was able to spend this gorgeous day at the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction in north Scottsdale, compliments of Barrett Jackson and VetTix! Thanks to both organizations for providing such a fun opportunity in recognition of my service to our country. As I was picking up my tickets at will call, a guy behind me in line called out my name. It turns out he was my boss 56 years at my first job at Knowlan's Grocery Store in Roseville, Minnesota. Frank Kirchner still lives in Minnesota, but comes down to Arizona to attend the auction. Can you imagine my surprise and delight to see him again?!! May God bless all veterans and those currently serving"¦as well as the United States of America, the country we love and served! â¤ï¸
