First I would like to start by saying thanks to FPC for their generosity and support for Veterans by donating tickets to the Disturbed concert. This concert was especially exciting and it was awesome the the band was passionate about suicide prevention and 22aday projects that help many veterans that are heading down that long dark road. Again thanks to FPC.

This show was incredible, and not just because the band blew the roof off the house! I have never been to a show to where the band had such a strong message for empowerment for oneself and encouragement to not only be a better person, but to be a better father, mother, brother etc., AMERICAN! Not only that, but there was a constant theme throughout the show that if you have an issue or know of someone struggling with substance abuse or depression, to get help. Several times, the message was given that to get help was to be strong and that everyone in the room was worth living. At one point, Disturbed invited a member of the audience onstage that had written them a letter at some point explaining how he was struggling with depression and on the verge of committing suicide, but due to the lyrics of one of their songs, it reminded him that even it the darkness, there is always light. This gentleman they invited onstage with them (and asked his permission to read the letter to the audience) had been medically retired from the Coast Guard, and with him on stage with them, they played the song that he credited them for helping him through what he stated was the darkest part of his life. Disturbed spoke about the fact that 22 Veterans committe suicide daily and even posted the information for the suicide hotline on their backdrop. This show was not just for entertainment. It was about reminding us that everyone matters and has a purpose no matter of your gender, religion, nationality, political beliefs... To those that donated these tickets, you quite possibly saved a life or more! Thank you from the bottom of my heart because I struggle every day with depression and the fact that a group like this would go so far out of its way to deliver the message that they did was something that I have never experienced at any concert EVER! I can honestly say that my heart is in a better place today because of this show. THANK YOU from myself, my wife and my Navy buddy with his wife for giving us the opportunity to attend this event. I am positive that this show changed lives! JONATHAN L. BARKER SFC, USA Retired

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for giving my husband and I an amazing night out!! Neither of us had ever been to a big time concert! One of the best things I encountered was the security through out the arena. I felt very safe among some of the roudy concert attendances. Another plus was the cleanliness of the restrooms!! Ladys really need clean restrooms. The first band was just as good as Disturbed!! To be given tickets to see both was a dream come true. Thank you so much our marriage needed this!!
