Thank you Vet Tix and Florida Theatre. I have watched events come and go at the Florida Theatre for many years but because of financial restraints I have never been able to attend. I have followed Vet Tix since I joined and I had never seen an event at the Florida Theatre that I was able to attend. Imagine my surprise when these tickets became available. I had been to one other small event in Gainesville that I attended this year but this event was awesome. I love Amy Grant. I love her husband Vince Gill. I love Christian music. I love country music. I also like rock and roll. lol. I was very surprised to see these tickets available and immediately applied. I was so happy to think of the possibility I forgot to even bid on anything. I just pressed apply. Imagine my surprise when I was accepted. I immediately paid the fee thinking somehow this is not going to go through. What a pleasant surprise. I was still very apprehensive going to will call to pick up the tickets. Excellent placement in the middle. Able to see and hear everything even with my elderly ears. Thanks to Amy Grant's sound man who spent time explaining a little about the tour to me after the show. Great lighting. Thanks to the Florida Theatre employee who explained the lighting procedure for me after the event. For the first time I was able to talk to another veteran sitting beside me. I think my significant other would have preferred I spent a little more time talking with her but I tried to share myself. A little humor. I am so appreciative to Florida Theatre and Vet Tix for giving me the opportunity to be able to attend this event. To say I was stoked with the experience would be an understatement.
