We had a wonderful time. I took a wheelchair bound friend and her deaf daughter. They were delighted with the rides, animals, games and food. They wanted me to say thanks both to the fair and Vettix. It was so much fun watching people laugh and giggle who very rarely get to do that!

I'd love to thank the Arizona State Fair for allowing fellow service members and veterans to enjoy a day at the fair. I often go spend hours volunteering to support the Stand Down, so it was nice to be able to offer my family to join, and to be able to park in VIP parking to limit the walk for an 84 year old and her adult disabled son. We all enjoyed the fair, food, fun, and the rodeo. The AZ State Fair does so much for veterans, and I have grown to know many of the people who run it through the years - the individuals care just as much as the organization as a whole, and I thank them - for today, and for all the many days and ways they have impacted my life and other veterans as well.
