I want to thank all those that made it possible for me and two of my other Veteran brothers to attend the Big 3 Basketball event. I have not been able to participate in many social events as I continue to work to become a better husband, father, and worker. In doing so, at times it is difficult to maintain friendships. Especially with those that know the sacrifices we made as soldiers. We all needed to bond and share thoughts, feelings, and frustrations that we could support and encourage one another. This gave us an opportunity to get away from the daily stresses we have and to truly grow as individuals that we can be better men for those that we love. Thank you for your giving and support in allowing Veterans to experience some of the extra joys of life that we not otherwise have the opportunity to have. I sincerely thank God for you who gave and those of you who have a desire to give. May God continue to bless you all.
