We had a wonderful time at the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert. It was our first time to Wolf Trap, and what a beautiful setting it is. Everyone there was super nice, from the ushers to the Will Call People, to the Park Rangers. My wife doesn't walk to well, and we had a cart ride from the parking lot and back to the car. The amazing part of this is, we didn't ask them, they drove up and offered us the ride. Thats Service! The show was wonderful, we have been to a lot of Symphonies, and this might have been the largest orchestra we have seen. I usually put a selfie of us on here, or one of me, but the others didn't turn out. Actually my wife is better to look at than I am anyhow. Well, we want to thank the Wolf Trap Foundation for their generosity, and the opportunity to visit Wolf Trap. Its Beautiful. We are planning to come during the day sometime, its a good drive from Harrisburg, but worth it. I also want to thank Vet-tix for all that you do for Vets and Active Duty Service people. Keep up the good work, you are unbelievable.

The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra gave a fantastic performance of music from across time and around the world. Alisa Weilerstein was wonderful playing the Dvorak cello concerto. The concert ended on an "upbeat note" with 2 encores, a beautiful Chinese piece and a stirring arrangement of America the Beautiful that was played for President Nixon in China. The piece recalled the hope and optimism of that time around his efforts toward greater global cooperation. I studied classical music formally from age 7 until my Navy career started, so attending the concert was a special opportunity, and I would like to thank Wolf Trap Foundation for their ticket donation.

It was hot. The Symphony was dynamic with a string section taking up much of the stage and producing very unusual powerful sounds. The closing number was worth the entire evening. Thank you vet tix and Wolf Trap for an unforgettable evening.

Dear Vettix, thank you for the tickets to the Shanghai Orchestra at Wolftrap. My daughter, a college orchestra violinist, and I share a love of the orchestra. It was perfect father/daughter time, and the center orchestra seats were amazing. I am still active duty and travel a lot so we don't see each other often. Thanks for the wonderful memory.
