What an evening of fun. Thanks to the Harlem Globetrotters, donors/sponsors, and VetTix for this opportunity for me and my sons to see the "Happiest Hours on Hardwood" (that's my name for them). The entertainment, amazing player skills, and rib-splitting fun was everything one could hope for, and MORE. Icing on the cake, for me? I had the rare privilege of meeting one of my "all-time" favorite Globetrotters and now Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel: "Sweet Lou" Dunbar. When I shook Lou's hand it felt as if I was also shaking the hands of Globetrotters' history and my childhood heroes and legends: Meadowlark Lemon, Geese Ausby, Curly Neal, and the rest of the teams. For a 70-year old guy? I was a child, again!
