Ole'! The Long Beach Symphony brings it home again! The music and dancing was perfecto ~ how DO those dancers get their legs that high up over their heads?! It was such a pleasure to have the opportunity to hear some standards in the Tango genre, as well as getting wowed with some new tunes. We LOVED the presentations by the composer of the "Shark" ("Really, it doesn't mean we hate the violinists..." and the "accordion/concertina" player who described his instrument as a possible punishment for children(!) Thank you to the fabulous Long Beach Symphony Orchestra for opening our eyes to something NEW!
