My parents Anniversary is on September 11th, they have not celebrated it since that day in 2001. This year was their 54th and I wanted to do something fun for them. Neither my Mom or Dad has ever been to a professional ball game but never missed a radio broadcast. We have and always will be Tigers fans, I grew up listening to the iconic voice of the Tigers, (Ernie Harwell). I cant say thank you enough to the Detroit Tigers for Donating these tickets. I live over 5 hours North of Detroit and could never afford to buy 4 tickets, a motel, and food for this without your help. The look on my Moms face as walked into the stadium said it all. She hasn't stopped talking about the game yet. THANK YOU to THE DETROIT TIGERS for these tickets.

What a beautiful day for a ballgame Despite the tragic event that took place years ago on this date. I want to say thanks to all the donors and Vettix who make memories happen and create opportunities for veterans and families to get together. We lost 4 to 5, but the real winners are the people who constantly work on adding a little bit if sunshine to dark situations. That you Vettix for allowing veterans everywhere to enjoy a little sunshine when turmoil, uncertainty and unfortunate events happen. 911 we will not forget! Thanks Vettix for all you do!
