What a cool performance! My family and I had a great time at the Star Wars vs Star Trek event. My daughter and her husband are both HUGE sci-fi/fantasy fans, so they had a really awesome evening listening to the performance. It was also very cool that the conductor gave some background on the various pieces, and even had an audience member read the "Space, the final frontier..." opening from the original Star Trek show. Outstanding! Thanks so much to VetTix and the always-superb Phoenix Symphony for a really fun and enjoyable evening!

OMG Thank you! We two sci-fi geeks were in comicon heaven! Next time, less Star Wars more Star Trek? I'm on the other team of those two ! Lol Thank you Phoenix Symphony and Vettix. You give disabled vets events to enjoy tremendously, but looking forward to an event has its own benefit. Hope. Hope for smiles, laughter, music, fun, whatever it is...you give us events to look forward to attending with loved ones. And sometimes, just a little bit of hope can go a really long way. A spot of hope in a very sad person, looking forward to an event shared...could even be momentarily lifesaving...may already have been. Bless you all for donating time, tickets, headaches and often herculean effort to keep this going. If not everybody thanks you, let me Thank You. Thank you for all you do for us!!! Eternal gratitude!

It was awesome. It was Star Wars and Star Trek music played. They asked if anyone was familiar with the Star Trek opening/theme and this guys hand shot up so fast. He got called up to the stage to read the opening while the orchestra played the opening theme song to his favorite show and the crowd ERUPTED in applause when he was going up to the stage and even more so when he finished the line "˜...where no one has gone before'. That was my favorite part.

The audience was very in tune with their favorites and the guest conductor went right along with their reactions to the various pieces. Very different and very enjoyable.
