My name is SPC Jeremy Shine. I am a father of an awesome 6 year old daughter who was recently diagnosed with severe autism. Our little family has faced some challenges over the years but we are determined to live life to the fullest. While serving in Iraq, just a few months ago, my wife decided to put her career on hold to provide more educational assistance to my daughter, which became emotionally, physically, and financially draining. Especially because my wife has been battling a mental illness of her own. I believe that if given this opportunity, we will be able to reconnect and create new healthy memories post deployment. Who knows what that would mean for my little princess! If you are able, we are requesting 4-day hopper tickets to Orlando’s Disney Theme Parks. We are planning on going August 17-24, 2023.
